Moxibustion, cupping, and bloodletting
When heat does what the needle cannot, and how to apply it without burning anyone.
How it starts
The needle regulates. But there are things a needle does not do well: it does not warm —and some patterns lack warmth—, it does not draw —and some stagnations are resolved better by pulling than by piercing— and it does not drain —and in some acute excess patterns what is needed is to let something out—. These three techniques exist for that.
