Anatomical location

On the posterosuperior part of the iliac crest. Draw a line from the greater trochanter (GB30, Huantiao) to the tip of the coccyx (GV1, Changqiang), then rise vertically from the center of that line: the point is where the vertical meets the iliac crest.

Main function

Point of the lumbosacral region and the hip, widely used for sciatica.
