Name and classical tradition

Xiaogukong, 小骨空, is the “small hollow of the bone,” the counterpart of EX-UE5 on the little finger: 小, small, here the little finger; 骨空, the hollow between the bones.

The Zhenjiu Dacheng (Great Compendium of Acupuncture and Moxibustion) describes it in a single line: «小骨空二穴,在手小拇指第二節尖是穴,灸七壯,治手節疼,目痛», at the tip of the second joint of the little finger, with seven cones, for pain in the joints of the hand and in the eyes. A poem in the same book puts the two together: «大小骨空治眼», the large and small hollows treat the eyes.

Protocols for the 20 patterns you see most in practice

Each pattern with its tongue, its pulse, the treatment principle and the points to tonify and disperse. Made for the treatment table, not the bookshelf.

Do you use EX-UE6 with your patients?

In the Clinic you record it in the patient's file, next to the tongue, the pulse and the measurements, so at the next session you know exactly what you used. The Atlas is built in.
